BuffaloWeather
At 1234 AM EST, A band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates of 3 inches per hour was found across South Buffalo and the immediate southern and eastern suburbs. This band of heavy snow will continue to drift slowly south through the Buffalo Southtowns, and will also begin to move onshore from Hamburg to Dunkirk. Travel along the NY Thruway along the Lake Erie shore southwest of Hamburg will deteriorate rapidly.
