In your defense I think you made some comment about how you had not been following this last system much up until that point, or something along those lines. I don't think it was for this event I said that but it was one of the recent ones. My mistake with this one was initially I took way too much into the boundary layer warmth and I didn't take into account other possible factors. RUNNAWAYICEBERG Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 I'm not sure what spots you were driving past, but the places I've seen Springfield, MA and north are frozen solid. I know there is a section south of Springfield where there is some open water, but that is in the channel where water comes out of the Bondi's Island sewage treatment plant. Even there though, 80% of the river is frozen. I can't speak for Hartford though. Yea im further down. Spots mainly south of HFD. But its a quick glance from the highway.
