wisconsinwx
Close! That is a classic early May clash of airmasses setup. Pretty ideal for some active weather around the GLOV region.
harrisale
12Z GFS brings the warm front next week a little farther north, as it has on the past few runs. Should bring some good warmth to most of the subforum. EDIT: Moved severe disco to the Medium Range Severe thread

wisconsinwx
temps look decent for a few days there...let's see if it holds I know I'm in the minority here, but threading the needle with these systems are the best; in other words, one or two days of mild and stormy weather, where we don't have to contend with the heat ridge and capping issues once the warm front passes. Brewers
The 850mb temps showing up on the Euro and GFS for Thursday, would support widespread low-mid 80's south of the warm front.

BuffaloWeather
Nice ridge on the GFS forming late next week. The warmth coming next week is real deal stuff, the question is it just a shot or a full on pattern change. I really hope it's a pattern change! I'm guarded on the warm up. We still have pesky blockness to the northeast over Quebec. It's not a slam dunk that the warm front will just blow through the eastern lakes. daddylonglegs
I have major doubts how far north it gets. I've been in the SCREW zone all spring. I doubt anything changes...but if it does... I will be dancing in the streets.
