I'm trying to help someone out using vista and it isn't working. I gave them the instructions on how to change the DNS address by going into notepad through the steps but when they hit save they get this message:

Cannont create the C://WIndows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct.

Forgive the basic question -- but are you/they editing the hosts file as an admin? (You'll need to run notepad as an administrator.)

I'm writing this to you via a site theat hides my IP address. I have not been able to get on the American WX site for 2 days now, nor the model page. Is there a problem with my IP address or is it a matter of the new server changes. I can not access via any of my home computers but can access at my work computer. American is a great site and I'm saddened I can not access at home. Please Advise. Thanks, RIck
