    I’ve got two left knees - I usually just go for the straight down and wipe out method. Only works at the worst east coast skiing sites.

    my biggest failure as a snow lover is that I cant ski. I just have zero body control -- literally can't figure out how to lean from one side to another to turn and I've got duck feet so the pizza/french fry thing fails.

    yeah, all it took was the refreeze overnight a few years ago to send my not-that-old, fairly athletic neighbor to the hospital with a broken neck. He’s fine now, but was a terrifying night. I take two things deadly serious: ice and wind. Both are terrible.

    Could be one of those events where trees, colder surfaces are slick even in places that aren’t below freezing given its fairly frigid tonight and tomorrow.

    Still some flakes flying, but need to get some sleep. Calling it 3" in my corner of Arlington, measurements were less than ideal though so I'll evaluate others' reports in the morning. Fun storm.

    expand that SE please? didn't set up a good place to measure but we look to be over 1" in NW Arlington. I'll try and fiddle around with it once the storm ends but probably will wait for a good spotter in the morning
