  1. Might be - it's debatable. I feel like I see the contours getting a little tighter and less signal of this having any serious coastal influence. But it is changing things run-to-run, that's for sure.
  2. CWG still does great local forecasts but it’s also about them being the weather section for one of the biggest national newspapers, meaning they pick up a ton of global/continental US weather-related stories, especially when the weather is slow locally
  3. looking at weather.us snow depth, it's a 1-3" for most of the subforum, though it lacks snow pretty quickly once you get south or east of DC.
  4. I don't have any influence over AccuWeather's forecast despite working there, I promise.
  5. Meanwhile, the 06z GEFS ticked back up the snow totals but has the jackpot area essentially the same. Looks closer to yesterday's 06z but still work to do. See a GIF of the last 4 runs below:
  6. I know the 06z GFS was posted in the LR thread but adding it here. I'd pay about $200 for it to be right, at least.
  7. That’s the GFS, but that is a mostly accurate summation of the GEFS as well, though the QPF swath did actually go down a decent bit.
  8. I realize this is much, much less of a disaster for me but I expected a lot less forum-wide considering the doom and gloom in this room.
  9. I'd agree -- though a bit of a wet bias doesn't fully describe it, haha. I was mostly just happy it didn't look like the GEPS:
  10. That’s it, that’s the final solution. Full endorsement.
  11. That’s fair — I’m just still personally looking for proof the storm exists before worrying about totals, so the 1” is much closer my bar.
  12. the 1” bar isn’t anything amazing but why do you always show the 3”?
