  1. Early April skiing can be good to amazingly good but otherwise give me the bluebells blooming on the plains, the scent of distant grassfires, and the threat of strong convection. And home in time for our climo favored end of May/ early June EML. I will say that the CoC days before the humidity and the bugs come out can be some of the nicest wx of the year here, but just too few and far between.
  2. Seems to me that March is when clippers can actually amount to something.
  3. Some nice pics out there today. Winter bluebird.
  4. Pretty sure all mets and most hobbyists know when to check it out and when not to. Like with overrunning, don't check it out.
  5. Calling it 6.5" here Nice morning at the Beast.
  6. However much you get it will seem like more (in SNE)
  7. Have been seeing epic pics from up and down the Florida coast this week
  8. Octobomb was also more than 2' for parts of SW NH esp but not the jack. AFN and a few of the hilltowns got 30".
  9. I think 2/5/01 jacked Swanzey with 30", but that's about the only thing I could come up with for that general area. What an epic storm that was... top 3 event for the valley, has to be.
  10. The road from Sedona to Flagstaff is one of my absolute favorite drives. Would highly recommend.
  11. Not sure about plotted snowfall maps for non-major events, but you can always grab the PNS reports from the IA State site: https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/wx/afos/list.phtml
  12. We got it in 2 rounds here with a several minute break in between. You can kind of see on that last frame the dual structure at the far SW corner of Quabbin as the slightly offset line segments coverged.

  17. Yep. You felt like you were definitely in on something. Plus I always enjoyed driving through the tornado damage path.
  18. I got a couple cans of Emperor Julius a couple weeks ago but honestly I still think the original Julius is still my fave of the series. Maybe just because it brings me back to waiting in line for growler pours in Monson.
