    She'll probably need to go at least 3 times before it's worth it. If it's that far it's a harder call IMO. Ellen-only day tix can be had for cheap sometimes, especially weekdays

    It's awesome and 199 is a total bargain Only caveat is that it gets 2nd class citizen treatment from Alterra sometimes, but still great.

    Turners Falls airport is a good spot. Or on the top of Mt Sugarloaf (which you can drive up), except you aren't in position to move easily. Fields between North Amherst and North Hadley too, wide open fields over there.

    Peak beach season. No crowds. Warm water (usually). Free. Unfortunately it's pretty dark to the west. CHH looks like the best bet today.

    Drove down to West Dennis this morning. Cloudy the whole way but sun peeking out right along the south shore of mid cape.

    Called the airport-- apparently the equipment is still there and this relates to a data feed issue at all USAF maintained sites. No estimate on resumption of data but it likely will be resumed.

    Seems like KCEF may have been decommissioned... No official word but it's getting the unperson treatment on all official sites... Bummer From UMass and the surrounding area it's 40-60 mins by car to ORE, ORH, BAF, & BDL

    Radar based QPE sucks out here. BTown coop is 84% of normal mtd and very near the 25% of normal contour on this map. Pretty big diff. Amherst coop is 75% of normal mtd.

    I used to always buy K Tix but I dunno, $145 doesn't seem like much of a deal at this range. I like the place but jeez. Probably just go to Magic if in the area, or continue north.

    94 bucks for Epic day passes good at Stowe (et al) isn't a terrible deal. Picked up a few before the Sept 1 deadline.

    Record low high temp at ORH is 60. On the hourly we seem likely to break it but probably on the 5 min data it'll end up a tie, barring some late brief spike

    Low high temp at BDL is 70 from 1922 Current high for the day is 63
