    Last week when this event first popped up and we were all worried about suppression, in the back of my mind I was thinking watch Boston end up with more snow than us. Oh, and I love how the NAMs get the snow to the end of my street, then hit a brick wall and dry up. But you have a point Ralph, looks like icy drizzle is a possibility tomorrow.

    I know I’m getting older and maybe my memory is starting to slip, but as I recall 1996 was a very different winter. I think PENNDOT is going to have a lot of leftover salt and Greenskeeper is going to have a lot of leftover weenies. 37F, cloudy

    And to be clear, I'm not looking for a HECS (but I'll gladly take one). Give me a 1"-3" or a 2"-4" type deal and I'm happy -- anything to whiten the ground and cover the grass.

    Funny you say this Ralph--I was thinking the other day that it seems the only way we've gotten snow around here in recent years is a big warm up that ends with a line of severe wx (the Wiggum rule). But yeah, despite the relative mild Jan, no huge warm up seems to be in store.
