We just got NAMed! Death band is back. So glad we’re not tracking snow. Off and on light rain here.

While we’ve all been paying attention to Henri, portions of TN received nearly 19” of rain today!

Already getting some sprinkles, 79F/DP 72F.

The HRRR does seem to be matching the radar the best. I wouldn’t mind an inch or two to keep the lawn green, but I can’t deal with another flooding event here

Not as much of a death band on the 3K 18z NAM that I can see. But then again, it doesn’t look like it’s picking up those showers over southern NJ. Model roulette continues!

I'm still recovering from Isaias' flooding. So yes, don't need to rebuild and replace everything two years in a row It is a little unsettling that the hi-res models keep picking up on that death band, so there probably is something to it. But as always, the "jackpot" zone will be a now cast thing.

If the Ukie happens, I feel horrible for those folks in lower Bucks who got flooded out, then got hit by the tornado(es)

Didn't want to junk up Agnes's thread... So a few days ago Henri had a chance to clip Boston as it passes by to the east. And if today's runs have a clue, Boston might see some showers as the bulk of the precip passes by to their west?
-
Agnes redux? If these westward trends continue, Pittsburgh will be in the game by this time tomorrow And how much of this maybe Fred's influence -- pumping the ridge in the N. Atlantic?
-
I was thinking about this the other day and obviously I need to dig into the archives, but it does seems the "slow and stall" scenario is becoming more common in recent years -- Harvey, Mathew, Dorian.

And since tropical systems unwind from the inside out, I can see the rain shield from a weakening Henri getting "pushed back" into our region. It ain't winter, but we have something to track.
-
I believe it's one of those two rain delays that went on to form Henri. You're welcome, New England!

Looks like 2.75” here. The lawn is happy and I don’t need to fill the bird bath today. I was under the tornado warning but nothing happened here. Don’t even recall much wind last night.

89F/DP 72F...can I sneak in a 90F today??
-
It would be the second time this year a tropical entity moved through the region and our backyards had little to show for it. Elsa was a nothing burger here, too. Still, as Newman keeps mentioning, we'll have to keep an eye out for a line (maybe two?) of severe weather this evening into the overnight. 75F/DP 73F

Flood Advisories in northern DE, those storms have been sitting there for a few hours. Any posters down there? 82F/DP 72F

Only 16 days until met fall. Sun now sets before 8pm. NFL pre-season and Little League World Series under way. Not much longer until winter storm warnings, virga and brine make their return! 80F/DP 56F
-
Sneaky high of 86F so far.
-
83F at noon today, so much better than the last few days. Still humid as &%#£ with a DP of 72F My forecasted high today is 88F, but with a good cloud deck overhead I hope to stay in the low to mid 80’s. So glad the AC is still working, wasn’t sure if it would make it through yesterday…lol!
-
Clouds!! Temp still 94F though
-
Kissed 95F for a bit but have since settled “back down” to 93F.
-
I've already matched yesterday's high of 93F, how much will I tack on from here?? I see there's a severe watch to our SW, with a little luck maybe some of that can find it's way into our region.
-
A little something rolled through around 1am leaving a T in the bucket. 73F/70 DP at post time. Maxed out at 93F yesterday.
-
Been sitting at 93F with a DP of 75F. I'm debating if I want to go get the mail or leave it there until November?
