M’eh, it’s how we roll around here—stretches of dryness punctuated by periods of flooding rains. But seriously, when was the last time our region was officially declared a drought? If it’s been in recent years, I’ve forgotten. I do recall maybe two summers ago it was wet until late July or so. Then the rest of that summer and fall were dry. I wanted to aerate and overseed but put it off because the ground was concrete.

At least humidity isn't an issue yet. But with the trees not fully leafed out, shade is at a premium. (I was reminded of that with my Irish skin this past weekend...lol!)

Picked up another .50" from the overnight storms, bringing my total to 1.10" for the event. Didn't know that much was expected--another overperforming rainer. 46F

A little more than .50” so far. Guess it’s asking too much to get two nice days for the weekend. Still, we could use some rain, it’s been dry lately. Don’t want the lawn burned out before May. 60F
