  1. I believe a lot of the interstate system in the east at least was built upon old road networks, which were built on the edges of the path of least resistance for travelers. I know I saw a TWC segment on this years ago. Geography influences wx, which influenced early road networks, which influenced many modern roadways. https://abc7ny.com/nyc-snow-i95-nj-corridor/10190897/
  2. Judging by the soundings, it looks pretty icy here in the valley.
  3. Yeah, my dad had the same about 5-6 years ago, so it was really concerning today. Just waiting to see what the severity is. His health has been declining a lot in recent years so definitely glad it wasn’t worse this morning.
  4. Thanks, everyone. It turns out it's more serious than originally thought, but he's doing ok, and I'm just glad he lived to see this day. I don't take the time we have together for granted.
  5. Yeah—I’m glad we got him to the hospital this morning. He didn’t want to go originally and my mom and I had to convince him.
  6. Looks like the heart attack was more serious than originally thought, but he’s doing ok right now.
  7. Just married! But my dad had a minor heart attack this morning. He’s doing ok, and I’m just happy he’s that way. Crazy day. Totally exhausted.
  8. Spoke too soon. He had a “minor” heart attack. He’s doing ok, and I’m just married. Exhausted.
  9. Thanks. Still here and they’re trying to figure things out. Fortunately, nothing really bad like heart attack/stroke.
  10. 8 hours before getting married and I’m here at the ER because my dad is sick. Waiting to see what’s going on.
  11. Hang in there. Hopefully you can share a couple of smiles and laughs thinking of the good times tomorrow.
  12. Yeah the admins changed the sign up process so this doesn’t happen again.
  13. I went from 41 to 55 in an hour and up to 59 now. A little breezy here but nothing too bad.
  14. Good luck! I had no idea higher end wind was in the forecast there.
  15. We (in SNE) haven’t seen a majority cold/snowy January in a while, right?
