  1. Didn’t expect to wake up to this.
  2. Absolutely fantastic evening outside.
  3. Yes! Congratulations! I’m so happy for you!
  4. With Kev on this one. Once they’re in, they’re in until September. But there was no way in hell I was installing on a two day torch in April.
  5. High of 91.3 here, temp back down to 89 now.
  6. 90s are too early, but climo or just above is awesome too. We forget the winter that never was and move on to brighter and longer days.
  7. 90.0° Weenies rejoicing at the arrival of warmth high fiving across SNE
  8. Just passed my high of 89.1 yesterday. 89.6°
  9. 85.5/56 at noon on the wx station
  10. Haven’t you heard? It’s never going to snow again so the thread was discontinued.
  11. Tropical season is almost here I do not have high expectations for the coming season, but watching the CSU presentation yesterday I’m intrigued by how the seasonal forecasts progress through June. I’m not yet convinced we go to a super niño, and the anomalously warm Atlantic may offset some of the suppressive tendencies of a weaker niño.
  12. They’re on the clock with the wind shift coming this afternoon.
  13. High of 89 so far here at home. Always interesting how I usually outpace HFD in the morning during warm season and fall behind in the afternoon. No tarmac here lol.
  14. This is WxWatcher007 reporting live from…I wish On the other side of the globe, small(ish) but mighty. Cat 4 equivalent hitting a sparsely populated area.
  15. What a beaut. What a ridge. Complete with a swirl over the Gulf.
  16. Very interesting presentation from Phil on their first run at a seasonal forecast. A lot of uncertainty on the potential strength of the niño and the trend with Atlantic temperatures.
  17. Strongly agree, Ray. While the past “winter” is something I’ll loathe to the day I die, my misery doesn’t necessitate a failing grade on any outlook. Like @tamarack said, it’s not just about looking at the snow stake, even if that’s what most only care about. What you’re doing is far more complex than that. I respect it.
