  1. Euro bullseyes SE MA tomorrow. Definitely north compared to yesterday.
  2. I don’t think so. Everything about this looks non-tropical to me. For that kind of scenario you really want a low to pop off the SE coast, acquire tropical characteristics, and tangle with a trough as it rolls NE.
  3. It has been unreal. I’m just under 14” since July 2.
  4. All kidding aside, tomorrow does have the look of another heavy precipitation event in SNE, provided the low doesn’t slide as far south as the earlier Euro depicted. For CT, I don’t think we get a low north enough to warm sector and bring a severe threat, but SE MA maybe?
  5. We want NAM. We NEED NAM. Big rains/Big storms or bust.
  6. Euro in particular looks like a whiff. GFS middle ground?
  7. I don’t think it’ll be that bad, but I usually love posting about tropical this time of year and I just can’t because it’s legit dead—with plenty of solid waves. Not much to say other than I think normal to slightly above still (but slipping by the day) seems in the realm of reasonable possibilities, even though I’d go below normal at this point.
  8. At this point, as big heat looks more and more off the table, I just want interesting. Big rains or big storms. Make this a summer of yore in the storms department.
  9. Can I just say how proud I am of my system? Developed years ago it faced its greatest test and came through like a champ. Widespread and high end severe throughout the region (sorry DC lol)
  10. Agree with EJ. Looks like a legitimate high end day, not just in this region but across the SPC zones. Over 700 severe reports east of the Mississippi and counting.
  11. Congratulations to every east coast region but New England that received multiple tornado warnings today lol
  12. I think we'll absolutely get some TOR reports in the MOD/ENH zones after there's time to survey.
