    Fascinating temperature bounces overnight, presumably due to wind and/or clouds. Low was 27.5, around 1am. Then crept up to 38 by 5am and sank back down to 32 around 7:45. Currently 44.

    Potomac is definitely fully frozen at the TR bridge on I-66 (and south of there as far as the eye can see). Can't speak to further south.

    This makes the most sense, but FCPS should also do a better job of explaining its decisions. As it is, the contrived reasons and/or non-explanations for recent delay and cancellation decisions beg the conclusion that they are just being arbitrary.

    100% agree. Today's delay is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is knowing that we will have the same delay tomorrow.

    Right around 2 inches in Great Falls. Couldn’t get a good measurement because we went and spent the afternoon at Top Golf in Sterling. Awesome experience in the snow. This was a great storm here. A bit less snow than projected but the rates this afternoon were incredible. Nice to have a fresh layer of white for the incoming arctic blast.

    Temp starting to drop (slightly) in Great Falls. Down from 36.9 to 36.5. RA/SN mix.

    Snow here with heavier rates. Rain when it is lighter. 36.5 degrees.
