  1. Good for Pulaski. About time for them to cover that grass!
  2. Looks like much of Upstate New York might end up getting some snows on Tuesday now as well.
  3. Nice. Sunny and cold most of the day here. I could see the cloud deck to the southwest over you guys all day.
  4. Do you know what your average is? Are you near Phoenix? My guess is my area will finish below average with no blockbuster bands in sight.
  5. I am in the 3 to 4 inch zone. Hopefully it works out. Maybe some upslope?
  6. Agreed! I just bought snowshoes this year too and am looking forward to using them.
  7. Did you go cross country skiing? Always a beautiful and good workout.
  8. So far the ridge and southtowns are kicking the Central and Southern Tug's butt in terms of Lake effect snow. We just can't seem to get a good west wind to set up. Northwest flow has dominated...with a SW hiccup yesterday.
  9. Stood outside on the porch for a while and watched the snow pouring down amongst my white Christmas lights. 2 of the most peaceful things.
  10. Friend in Adams Center posted she just heard thundersnow.
  11. I was just about to ask you, wolfie. My guess us I will finish with around 5 inches.
  12. Picked up about 3 inches from this first burst the past couple hours. See what the next burst brings. How did everybody else do in the Syracuse/Oswego area?
  13. Excited for you guys who have been hit. So far, the lake effect season has been lame in this part of the Tug. Finally getting some good snow the past couple hours. Jefferson county is getting hammered.
  14. I can't imagine driving with that much snow falling so quickly on the road. Might get that experience pretty soon... Congrats to you guys getting Thunder snow. Might get that opportunity this evening here. Jim Cantore would be peeing in his pants...
  15. Hoping you Buffalo guys get some of the fluff. Looks like some nice snow showers about to move in to the metro area. Just checked out Watertown cam. One of my favorite webcams.. Snowing very nicely there. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to a foot. https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/usa/new-york/watertown-thompson-park.html
  16. Looks like a WNW wind. Talk about a tight gradient! 1 foot in Pulaski, while 10 miles south it is over 7 feet!
  17. Looking forward to nowcasting with you all. Hopefully there will be some nice surprises for many.
  18. Yeah, just looked at the NAM runs. Urgh. Looks like might have to wait until January for a West wind event. Yawn.
  19. I like that...not sure why they excluded Oswego county....maybe will upgrade us after it starts shifting south at a later time period.
  20. ...and a whole bunch of flood warnings and.advisories...but it is hard to see those. I too thought it looked rather boring with no pretty colors all over the map.
  21. That would be about 5.5 inches for me with 10:1. Came down to Pulaski and it looks like a completely different world down here. Only snow is teeny tiny snow piles. As soon as you get past Orwell, that changes. Snow showers were already accumulating up in Redfield as we left. Here....nada. Ready to get back to my snowy landscape already. Pulaski in picture:
  22. Wish you were closer...my wife and I love to play. We played on an intramural team back in Michigan. It is amazing to me that people put a great amount of time and money into the development of such specific books. Love it.
