  1. We're so much more infrastructure hardened now than those old years. People will be sorely disappointed. ASEMAATT had a friggin 100 mph wind blaster spectacular last October, and yeah they didn't have power for a week but it wasn't a humanitarian crisis.
  2. It is nice out, but you're constantly taking on and off the hoodie. Everyone prefers low 60s or 80 so we can dress consistently.
  3. Damn. Was on 495 Bolton area when it hit, not that bad out there considering I was tracking lightning the whole way home.
  4. I mean if they do the crossovers properly maybe it won't be so bad, but it is sorely needed, that section has gotten progressively worse the last 10 years. Short term pain long term....gain?
  5. Just a heavy downpour here in Dennis. Been cloudy and drizzling here off and on since Sunday. Cape weather blows 90% of the time. Worst weather in New England except downeast Maine maybe, but at least it snows there. No wonder they have an H problem, depressing.
  6. Yup. I'm in Dennis I'm hoping it holds together. Looks like it's blossoming.
  7. You like it when everything dies and is brown and it's cloudy and dreary outside? Odd.
  8. I always call this time of year San Diego weather
  9. Yeah I have a buddy who has them, he loves them, his electric bill is like $15. You see the Sun Run vans a lot, maybe they're reputable? I think @BrianWknows a lot about panels based on his posts.
  10. Unless you face south my understanding is it's not really worth it. Plus I've heard if you need to get a new roof, it's a pain to get them out to remove the panels.
  11. Ha, I just bought a midea. Glad to hear you like it. My old one is like 20 years old and OMG it chews power. I'd almost rather just run the risk of a little moisture than run that POS.
  12. Does @dendriteknow about this? Hopefully it happens this stretch is awful. Especially this part weekend. http://www.i93bowconcord.com/ @wxeyeNH @MarkO @CoastalWx
  13. They have caution signs in Hawaii at the beach showing people's necks breaking from this. I got slammed a couple times it hurt.
  14. Missed out on a great golf event at LIV Boston this weekend. Shorts, beers, big name musicians. And the ending to the golf was great as well. Team and individual aspect keeps everyone's head in the game until the end. Greg Norman parachuting in. Music played throughout the event to get people amped up. Big Papi intro. Nice.
  15. Dallas and St Louis aren't really hilly bro. But yeah I think it's more the rates, true.
  16. I guess, but all the areas in the South it was like the same situation but way more damage.
