    Where I am was just west of the best echoes earlier in the day. The park is also oriented NNE-SSW, so maybe some was lost off the top by the wind?

    Rough estimate from just north and west of the band in Newtonville. Checked a number of spots in the park next to us and found about 10.5". It was around 4" at 10:30.

    Daughter insisted on playing outside for a couple hours this morning. Just on the edge of the band in Newtonville. 4-5" after measuring a number of spots? Blowing everywhere, so impossible to be sure. Visibility under 600' when intensity pulsed up.

    Temps actually dropping. Was 21.9 around 6:00, now down to 19.8. Still 1/2S. Maybe 2". Hard to tell.

    From a school / business standpoint for the NE Corridor, it's good this is a Friday afternoon to Saturday night deal. Imagine the headache it would cause if the snow was starting now on a Tuesday afternoon?

    Wife's family has been getting their Christmas Night feast from Golden Temple for *years*. The kids watched Encanto after, so it was a good night for all.

    Yeah, it's 30.1 on my cheap thermometer in Newtonville. Looks icy out there already.

    Was outside much of the afternoon with daughter and her cousins running around a playground. Weenie flakes just about the entire time and cold. The kids didn't seem to mind while they were playing. Very happy about having hot chocolate when we got inside though.
