We came down to Northampton to meet friends for dinner. Streets are a mess with Pond water. Has flipped to moderate snow. Temperature definitely feels like it’s dropped below freezing now.

Pretty high impact storm here. 5”+ if dense baking powder snow followed by close to an inch of sleet. Should be some epic snowbanks in town.

Absolutely hammering sleet in Greenfield right now.

Still mostly sleet here with a little bit of freezing rain mixed in. I think Greenfield is gonna escape with very little liquid precipitation. Looks like winter now.

Very fine sleet particles falling here as the next batch of moisture move through. I think Greenfield is going to avoid much freezing rain. Probably bump up to 32.5 when the rain moves in here. Currently 29°.

Maybe but our temperatures are going to spike a bit when the heaviest rain comes in. 29° here also.

27° here now also which is a 3° rise in the past hour. Pelting sleet right now. Probably heading out to clear the driveway shortly. I don’t want to risk too much rain getting into the pack when it flips.

Just light sleet and pixie dust now. Temps still in the low and mid-20's from Northampton N to Brattleboro. Should be some minor icing later.

I'm closing in on 40" and there has been snow on the ground for weeks, so definitely better for winter appeal than last few winters. My picnic table has about 16" on it and the snow banks in town are going to be formidable. If it ended today I would give it a grade of C.

I'll be staying with friends on the Upper West Side so I'm hoping for a snowy Central Park!

It’s comical how hard it is to get a storm over 6” this year.

Sleeting pretty good here with flakes mixed in. Now comes the question that happens with everyone of these type systems. How long do I wait to clear the driveway?

We flipped to sleep between 4 and 5 AM. 5” of dense snow before that. 23° and pelting sleet now with a few flakes mixed in.
