  1. Over to baking powder now so 1”/hr is all done but still coming down heavy. Roads are messy!
  2. Approaching 4” now, really dumping powder, approaching 4”. 22F. Averaging over 1”/hr
  3. Berkshire won't suck but maybe Mt Snow better? If you don't mind the drive head for Okemo.
  4. 2" 22F moderate snow. Snow growth is a little meh' not baking powder but not feathers.
  5. You are going to have a lot of sleet. Good staying power at least.
  6. My brother texted me and said traffic was already building exponentially around Boston metro.
  7. I took a nice fall earlier on powder polished ice. I'm fine but feet went right out from under me, luckily he went butt, back, head in order of impact. Just a reminder that all the ice patches are now covered and polished. Time to put the creepers on my boots.
  8. It must have been startling for you to see snow coming from the sky.
  9. Hopefully snow growth improves for you but this was the worry I expressed earlier, baking powder to sleet. Halves the snow totals but doubles the shoveling. lol. Decent medium size flakes here, hopefully that holds but not investing in it. Moderate snow 22F.
  10. Went from stray flakes to moderate snow in minutes! Great snow groth, roads are already a mess.
  11. It will be fun tuning in to the metro Boston traffic reports this evening!
  12. I'm not going to be shocked if we are only in the 4" range here if we go the baking powder then sleet routine. Joyless clearing that stuff. Hopefully we get some decent snowcgrowth but didn't happen in the last event. Overcast 20F
  13. I can't remember if it was April 2012 or 2013 but Franklin county had a storm dropped almost 3 inches of sleet and there were over 30 accidents across the county that day, mostly minor luckily.
  14. Yeah, based on mid-level warm push we might need to knock a 1/3 off. Interestingly our "expected snowfall" and "max potential snowfall" maps from BOX are the same up here.
  15. I look forward to Pickles micro-analysis of the short term mesos tonight to find which one gives us the least desired outcome.
  16. Greenfield made the early dismissal call for tomorrow at 1pm today to give parents plenty of warning. Not much else they could do if it moves in like a wall at lunch time, don't want buses on the road.
  17. All reports indicate everything South of Killington is a glacial disaster right now.
  18. If we get a rainer to the border this weekend the resorts will need to set up MASH units for vacation week.
