  1. Your area over to Kevin may be the underdog winners from this one. The NWS maps will end up a little low in Franklin Co but at least it's not rain!
  2. Yeah, it hasn't exactly been a screw job here lol, I was just surprised we lost the great snow growth that we had between 8-9pm. Looks like only a few hours max left for this area, hoping to break 4" as intensity is decent. I don't mind the dense snow I was just hoping to pad the season totals a bit.
  3. Exactly what I was thinking walking the dogs a few minutes ago. Reminds me of that snow. Luckily it has come down heavy enough to give us over 2" so far but the potential for double that was there with better snow growth. The models definitely showed a screw zone of sorts over N ORH Co and parts of NH.
  4. Just under 2.5" here. Don't get me wrong, great to be getting accumulating snow, just a little frustrating to spend a few hours under 25-30dbz of baking powder. The good snow growth lasts for a few minutes and goes back to marginal flakes. I wonder if MPM's place is doing better with elevation? I'll take a ride up tomorrow and measure for him.
  5. The banding is weird but I guess it was modeled. About 2" here and moderate snow but back to baking powder so that is keeping accumulation down.
  6. 26F Moderate snow now with great snow growth as the heavier bands move in. half inch down.
  7. Coming down at moderate rate now but absolute baking powder, need to get better growth to pull 4-6" so hopefully it's coming.
  8. 5 degrees in the past hour? You should be seeing flakes soon.
  9. JFC, Greenfield has already canceled school for tomorrow.
  10. Years ago on the old Eastern forums I thought it was just an airport code I couldn't find the location of.
  11. 22F -SN small, perfectly shaped rimed flakes atm.
  12. You know its bad when HubbDave is calling someone out as pessimistic.
  13. GFS looks great for W of the River. Wish thus was happening during daylight, should be some nice rates for an hour or three.
  14. Let them go, there is a natural selection process at work.
  15. Tough to rain at Jay or Sugarloaf at peak winter climo, maybe it continues to trend that way but I doubt it.
  16. Well, convective squalls are one of the few times W MA gets the goods so hopefully that holds true in a winter event too. lol Kidding aside I would love to lay down 4-5" overnight Tuesday and then drop another 1" in 20 minutes Wednesday afternoon. Greenfield winter carnival is this weekend and we are actually looking pretty good with solid glacier and plowable snow on the way!
  17. Maybe some advisory snows to your N and W? Even from Greenfield to Keene things need to break just right to get warning out of this.
  18. Interesting, pretty much held serve out here.
  19. Mesos all like NW CT up through E Slope of Berks to NW ORH Co. for the SNE sweet spots. I’m going 4-6” here, little more in the elevations.
  20. I glanced at the GFS and wondered to myself how much w.e. can a snowpack actually hold? 3-5" of glacier here now, 4"+ coming tomorrow night and then a cutter or two currently modeled with arctic intrusions in between. I won't see my shaded areas until May if we really build an ice pack but sounds like you NNE folks are already there.
  21. I expect one gets issued here tonight
