  1. Another quiet Saturday at Berkshire East. Snow was great!
  2. Ha, old friend in Bartlett NH. 5 minutes to Attitash, 10 to Cranmore and 25 to Wildcat. We try to get up there a few times a year. Ideally twice winter, once summer but sometimes it's only one and one or two winter. I love that area! We will surley get up to Crawford Notch that week so I'll PM you and Alex.
  3. I'll be up there for that 3rd week of February and really hoping your area can cash in on some good snows before then. We were scheduled to be there last week but we pushed back our trip hoping mid to late February would have more snow!
  4. Nice little New England mountain tour you guys are doing.
  5. Hopefully February brings the goods in terms of snow. It is a classic old-school New England mountain and when it is wide open it is super fun! Wachuesett has more trails (and is fantastic) but B’East has more vertical and glades if we can actually get them open.
  6. B’East folks did a damn fine job making that mountain enjoyable today! Once again, a little rain in the forecast kept folks away but conditions were great through the afternoon.
  7. They must’ve blown snow on lower lift line all week because it was in great shape.
  8. Nice morning at Berkshire East no lines and the snow was real nice packed powder and soft machine groomed.
  9. There is no way that is below average for you.
  10. Edit: Last night's 5" puts me at 36" on the season.
  11. Snowmaking crews and groomers did a nice job pulling Berkshire East into shape this week.
  12. I’m slightly over now. 31” and I average in the upper 50’s.
  13. There are so many ski areas in New England that are bigger and more up-to-date but there’s something about that place that makes me smile.
  14. Wasn’t as mushy as you would think. Pretty damn good snow considering it was close to 60° when the sun was out.
  15. Pretty fantastic spring conditions at Berkshire East right now. Probably no more than 100 people or so here and it is an absolutely gorgeous sunny day. I think the rain forecast scared a lot of people away.
  16. Berkshire was pretty much closed yesterday so kids lesson was canceled and my buddy was up at Stratton today with morning wind holds and lots of ice. Hopefully things turn around after next weekend. High dews will not be welcomed though.
  17. Brutal weekend for skiers in CNE/SNE, rain yesterday howling wind gusts today.
  18. It’s ironic because they had the earliest opening ever due to good temperatures in November and a great start to December and now January is the meh’ month. Luckily the Greenfield recreation department ski program will give us a rain check if tomorrow is lousy.
  19. Taking my kid to B'East the next 4 Saturdays for lessons and some turns for me and the wife. Expecting meh' conditions in the rain tomorrow but I'll still get some runs in.
  20. @40/70 Benchmark Ray and I are in lock step with our snow totals this year. 28". Good December.
  21. Updated totals to include the .5" Tuesdasy night and the .25" from the squalls yesterday. Total 25.75" for the season.
  22. At this point my totals are under by .75” but I’ve been to lazy to change on the table. 25.75”
