I think Ray probably loses the bet but I would not count out 2 warning events between now and ides. Maybe even 2 SECS.

Although this winter has been mediocre at best I have sure spent a lot of caloric energy moving snow from the systems we have had. I certainly don't recall of the paltry 80s having so many events that ended with glaze. If it wasn't a vacation week I'm sure today would have been another two hour school delay.

I average a bit under 60 here there is no way Amherst is only 39.

I am sitting at a conservatively measured 34" since I often don't record anything less than 1". As Tip said earlier it wouldn't take that much to get to normal. A 12"+ and a few advisory events could do it which is not unreasonable considering there is a solid month of winter weather left. I guess where we stand right now based on how much snow I've had and how much snow cover and winter activity I've been able to engage in I can't really give this season less than a C. Not that that has anything to be really excited about.

Have not looked at the cold source set up for that one but yesterday/today certainly overperformed with the cold.

Greenfield is solid snow cover. Several snow to ice events with a lil' fluffer in the middle.

Yeah, that was a nasty accident. TT, Tandem TT, a box truck and a p/u truck. 30mi detour along RT 20. Cars that were beyond the detour exit had to sit for hours.

So predictable, 20 minutes of good snow growth, heavy coating down and now pixie dust baking powder. Yay. Hopefully sg improves again after the heavier returns and some better lift move in but radar is not that inspiring. Back down to 22F Should be a nice glaze in the morning.

We are up in N Conway so gonna' miss this one but there is a fuk ton of snow up here. This should get Greenfield into the mid-30's for season total. I'll deal with shoveling Tuesday I guess.

Decided to ski Black Mt today to avoid the Attitash/Wildcat crowds. What a fantastic little old-school New England mountain! Great conditions, no lines and beautiful wooded trails.

Greenfield is close to 60” winter average.

That gets overdone on models.

Certainly an active pattern if nothing else. I'm a little more than halfway to average snowfall.
