  1. You are in a nice battleground zone for the rest of the winter.
  2. Correction NW from today’s runs expected. This will be a nice 2-4” event for some SNE peeps. Anything more is welcome gravy.
  3. I’m all for it! The CMC snows over the years have interior NE as a permanent glacier. Hopefully CMC becomes king someday.
  4. Never is a bit strong but yes, very variable pattern that is never a lock beyond 48hrs. The fast jet flow has been pretty impressive with mitigating the logical atmospheric model leaning towards Low pressure cutting to the lakes but eventually flattening. The sneaky E Canada Highs are always the wildcard in this type of transitional pattern.
  5. I’m thinking nice over running event mid-month to kick the interior back into winter mode.
  6. Weenies have been way to impatient with this threat. It has had the possibility for a nice advisory event for someone in SNE for a few days and still does.
  7. I’ll defer to Tip on this but it seems like fast flow has been the story more often than not the past few years.
  8. That probably won’t be a focus for most here either after tonight.
  9. I feel like, as with almost everything else in the news, many people in the US have sort of forgotten about it or don't care.
  10. Wow, what a gradient, 100 mi to your WNW in Greenfield It has been almost continuous snow cover and currently we have 4 inch pack of absolute glacier with big plow piles all over town. That being said it is much different even just 10mi S of here so it has definitely a latitude gradient, although those S interior areas did do very well in the big December storm.
  11. @Juliancolton That was last year‘s list I posted which is fine but I meant to post this year‘s list: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.masslive.com/entertainment/2019/12/fran-bellamys-10-best-dining-experiences-of-2019.html%3foutputType=amp
  12. @Juliancolton These are not all in Springfield but several are in around Springfield and for the most part I agree with his list. https://www.masslive.com/life-and-culture/erry-2018/12/3f4bf197da7753/fran-bellamy-10-best-dining-ex.html
  13. -RA. 36 thankfully skiing got canceled today. radar is unimpressive
  14. It’s ironic because they had the earliest opening ever due to good temperatures in November and a great start to December and now January is the meh’ month. Luckily the Greenfield recreation department ski program will give us a rain check if tomorrow is lousy.
  15. Taking my kid to B'East the next 4 Saturdays for lessons and some turns for me and the wife. Expecting meh' conditions in the rain tomorrow but I'll still get some runs in.
  16. MPM would through his laptop through the window with that gradient.
  17. It was nice to get the driveway mostly ice free today. Based on no meteorology, I am calling for a rainer every Saturday in January, since I have invested hundreds of dollars in lessons and lift tickets for the family for those days.
  18. N Greens have best shot at a few inches. If this thing loses any more dynamics and shreds out I could see even Bethel getting only 1-2". Hopefully it surprises and all the mountains get 4 to 6"
