  1. So that was really weird, just saw some of the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen in downtown Greenfield and the radar looks clear?
  2. Harvard and Stow MA Looking primed.
  3. Didn’t they more recently play a show that ended up in a bunch of new Covid cases? I knew a woman who died in that Rhode Island fire. Single mom, her family sued the shit out of the club the band and Budweiser who sponsored it.
  4. LOL, just came through the most isolated rain shower ever in Deerfield. Couldn’t have been more than a few pixels on the radar..
  5. We were close to 7" last month, but surprisingly it did little for the lawn. Still a wasteland You and I probably both have soil problems. It doesn’t really matter if it’s wet or dry my lawn is tough to maintain. Crabgrass looks fantastic right now though. Bright green!
  6. I thought I was mistaken with my 5.5” since June 28 but local wunderground station at the community college down the street is 6.4” We wet here, complete opposite of June.
  7. Fantastic evening! 78F. Neighbors pool is 82F and the Double IPA is 40F.
  8. Elevated valley (Green River) within the valley (Ct River). My area is notorious radiator spot in the winter. Be interested to know what Ray’s temperatures have been like but probably similar to yours.
  9. Man, NW MA has, for whatever meteorological reason, lucked out this summer. It’s been hot but only four days total over 90 in Greenfield. 87/72 currently. I guess we have had cloud debris on most of the forecast hottest days.
  10. Cloud debris days have effectively kept us from having a heat wave yet this summer out this way. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t been hot though.
  11. 78/72. Gross! At least the clouds are keeping the temperatures down.
  12. T-storm moving through S VT just clipped us. Quick .10” 75/70 overnight low of 71F Ovet 5” now for July, the crabgrass has never looked better.
  13. 82F in Greenfield. Only managed 88F yesterday so my heat wave will need to start today.
  14. Still only 85F here, decent breeze tho’ House was up to 78F so A/C cranking now.
  15. 82/65. Heat distribution this summer has been odd. The Pioneer Valley can often do hot with the best of them, but this year there have been a lot of areas north, south and east of here that have had much more impressive temperatures. Maybe @ORH_wxman or one of the other mets has a good explanation?
  16. Lots of cloud debris here earlier. We should be off to the races soon.
  17. Just got back from Falmouth a little while ago and it looks like peaked at 86F imby today.
  18. Rapid arctic fresh water melt sublimating the warm water conveyor?
  19. All fantastic breweries and I mean that as somebody who is intimately involved in a brewery and craft beer. Jacks Abby makes some of the best lagers in the United States.
