  1. Rumbly but did not see any flashes and nothing too loud.
  2. Have you started building your ark yet?
  3. I don’t think we are even coming close to that. Already over here it appears. Barely measurable.
  4. Yeah, pretty light but welcome nonetheless. At least the ground is wet.
  5. Hoping for .25” or so here even if it doesn’t make a dent in our water deficit.
  6. Go check out Lake Willoughby. Gorgeous!
  7. Green River Valley, runs right through our neighborhood, part of our unique winter CAD. Also, a phenomenal River with many bare ass swimming holes and also the super nice family area I posted.
  8. I am grateful that Greenfield has one of the nicest public town swimming areas I have ever been to and it is five minutes from our house!
  9. I can’t believe they started allowing rockets 2 years ago. Fun but insanely dangerous and unpredictable. Rockets are the biggest threat to start brush fires.
  10. https://www.google.com/amp/s/wgme.com/amp/news/local/mainers-urged-to-protect-themselves-from-toxic-browntail-moth-caterpillars
  11. I-91 Is hilarious, heading north there are billboards for the New Hampshire fireworks stores, heading south there are state electronic boards warning “fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts!”
  12. If we stay dry, Fourth of July should be interesting for brushfires. I have seen quite a few posts on FB of people complaining about fireworks this year.
  13. Haven’t seen many of those down here. Still the occasional swarms of blackflies though.
  14. On the bright side, the drought has made ticks almost nonexistent around here. I have not seen one in weeks and we were inundated during spring.
  15. This is the Cold River in Charlemont. Normally you cannot even see any of these rocks.
  16. Delicious, cool, night time air. A/C off and windows open. 62/52
  17. I have rounded up to .60" here in that time frame!
  18. It’s really bad here but droughts don’t last for months in New England so should balance out soon.
  19. The Earth rotates at 1000mph, yet we only notice by where the sun, moon and stars are in the sky.
