  1. Yeah, W of the River cannot afford the east correction. A few hours of moderate snow is not going to cut it in a putrid air mass.
  2. Yikes, NWS Box point and click only going 1-3” here and 2-4” in the hills to my West.
  3. One forecast I can guarantee is there will be a lot of nervous weenies posting tomorrow about when the flip is supposed to happen.
  4. Much to my dismay, they were pretty accurate about their snow maps out here last winter. i’m at the northern end of the valley so only 2-4” would not surprise me at all. I mean, it’s 44° here right now so not exactly screaming snow.
  5. I know it’s the Reggie but still may be a little red flag at half mast there. Too many times I have seen a meso model or the GFS torch the surface or mid levels and get dismissed by weenies and then watch it happen.
  6. I am going to need to rely on a secondary western deformation band and some mlm.
  7. I thought so too but others say it’s just noise. Also looked a little more wound up to me.
  8. Yeah, I’ll believe totals when it’s actually on the ground. Northern Worcester County has always been the lock with this one. ...and most other snowstorms for that matter.
  9. Yeah, don’t remind me. That was my first go around in the valley and it sucked in Amherst. I was so happy to move back to Boston in 1997 just in time for April Fools Storm!
  10. The old Mt Watatic ski hill in Ashburnham might be good.
  11. My favorite storms are the ones that screw me and all of the nearby ski areas.
  12. Oh’ good, I’ll be able to get some raking in on Sunday.
  13. I said last night that he is only 30 miles east of me but will have 10x my season totals come Sunday. N ORH county is the best snow spot in SNE period.
  14. Yeah, I did not have the elevation or the rates for the October storm. The Boston metro area is super interesting for snow. I grew up in Cambridge and I’ve lived in a bunch of places within 10 miles of the city. There are significant differences from town to town in Suffolk and Middlesex county.
  15. You are riding the dynamic line if you are back in Brookline for the storm. Gon’ be fun to track a legit big storm.
  16. 2m temps are not great, there will be some pretty dramatic cut off lines for snow and no. You and ‘Berg and the rest o’ your lot, don’t want this going over Chatham because by then a lot of QPF will have been wasted. edit: *(“then” meaning the flip to snow.)
  17. Thanks. The bumps West are a little surprising to me but let’s see what tomorrow brings.
  18. E or W of 12z? edit: this reply was meant for Seminole wrt Canadian.
