  1. I feel like, as with almost everything else in the news, many people in the US have sort of forgotten about it or don't care.
  2. Wow, what a gradient, 100 mi to your WNW in Greenfield It has been almost continuous snow cover and currently we have 4 inch pack of absolute glacier with big plow piles all over town. That being said it is much different even just 10mi S of here so it has definitely a latitude gradient, although those S interior areas did do very well in the big December storm.
  3. @Juliancolton That was last year‘s list I posted which is fine but I meant to post this year‘s list: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.masslive.com/entertainment/2019/12/fran-bellamys-10-best-dining-experiences-of-2019.html%3foutputType=amp
  4. @Juliancolton These are not all in Springfield but several are in around Springfield and for the most part I agree with his list. https://www.masslive.com/life-and-culture/erry-2018/12/3f4bf197da7753/fran-bellamy-10-best-dining-ex.html
  5. -RA. 36 thankfully skiing got canceled today. radar is unimpressive
  6. It’s ironic because they had the earliest opening ever due to good temperatures in November and a great start to December and now January is the meh’ month. Luckily the Greenfield recreation department ski program will give us a rain check if tomorrow is lousy.
  7. Taking my kid to B'East the next 4 Saturdays for lessons and some turns for me and the wife. Expecting meh' conditions in the rain tomorrow but I'll still get some runs in.
  8. MPM would through his laptop through the window with that gradient.
  9. It was nice to get the driveway mostly ice free today. Based on no meteorology, I am calling for a rainer every Saturday in January, since I have invested hundreds of dollars in lessons and lift tickets for the family for those days.
  10. N Greens have best shot at a few inches. If this thing loses any more dynamics and shreds out I could see even Bethel getting only 1-2". Hopefully it surprises and all the mountains get 4 to 6"
  11. I’m almost halfway to season average snowfall.
  12. Yup and always has been despite selective model hugging by weenies with snow goggles.
  13. Most modeling have a system moving through just not great agreement on track and strength.
  14. Like you always say "it's gonna' snow where it wants to snow".
  15. The 4mi drive home from friends house in town took about 20 minutes. Quick whiteout squall. Good start to the new year!
  16. Current squall just dropped .25" in about 20 minutes.
  17. @40/70 Benchmark Ray and I are in lock step with our snow totals this year. 28". Good December.
  18. No doubt there is a Wintery appeal.
  19. It’s that 33 that’s a bitch.
  20. Oh’ I got one. Let me see if I can remember my YouTube password.
  21. I am still geeking out on the thundersleet. It wasn’t just a token flash or two it was full on 20 minutes of thunder and heavy sleet!
  22. 2.25-2.5” here. Microdust still coming down. Low total accumulations but fairly high impact considering it was almost all sleet and roads were a mess all day.
  23. In all fairness to @Damage In Tolland in terms of sensible winter wx, I feel like anywhere W of Gardner and N of RT 2 is Central New England.
