Yeah and you generally end up with the most snow out of anybody in SNE almost every time.

Tip has had good posts about how the past few years, overall, have featured a very fast flow in the N Hemisphere jet streams. Thus we have a lot of systems getting “shredded” and a lack of good timing with N/S stream phasing of storms.

Even without elevation looks like we at least coat the ground here. With plenty of yard work left to do whitening the ground is all I need at this point.

So strange, our oak tree is really healthy but more than half the leaves are down already and usually they don’t all fall until December. Meanwhile the Norway maples are just changing colors this week. It has been an absolutely epic foliage season around here this year! Long and strong.

If you go get off of I-90 in Worcester and take Rt 122 across the NE side, beautiful and rural and then go 202south to the more popular S side gates and damn. Several breweries you could hit I'm sure.

Another stunning day in the valley. It’s been a pretty damn good week for weather here. 72° and mostly sunny.

Outside of some sprinkles it’s been a nice week here. You can keep the precipitation, I would be OK if it didn’t precipitate here again until snow season.

That sucks. It is 67° and bright blues here in the great NW of MA.

Even though Franklin county is 700 mi.² if we have more than 28 cases in the entire county, the ratio they use means we cannot enter VT w/o quarantine. Crazy. That is going to be a nightmare for the Vermont tourist economy.

Jeezuz, that must’ve just changed this week again. We literally only have a handful of cases here but our population is so low the ratio they use screws us. It also has kept me from investing in any interstate ski passes since come winter time we might not be allowed to overnight anywhere.

I think my county is the only county in Massachusetts that’s allowed to stay over there right now.
