It was a bit surreal doing a late night dog walk last night and listening to the sound of frozen leaves hitting the ground. It was like this new sound that I had never heard before.
We bare here. I’m actually going to leaf blow this afternoon.
In retrospect, having no snow on the ground will make trick or treating a lot more pleasant tonight.
Brattleboro to Greenfield kind of got the shaft on this one. Never really got into the heavy stuff.
Only eyeballed .5”-1” up and down I-91.
Still impressive for October!
Plus no clean-up required.
Elevation was a little more important here in the NW corner. Only .5-.75” here but close to 3” just two miles up the road and 500’ higher.
(I’m about 350’ and our friends up the road are at about 800’ or so.)
