    Weird storm. The lighter bursts of precipitation are snow and the heavier bursts are sleet. Almost no freezing rain here which I'm grateful for. Temp ticked down to 31/29. -SN

    I was just trying to find that out. I was supposed to go to Northampton but am going to wait. It's got to be slick since the path I shoveled 10 minutes ago is already coated again.

    That band moving along Rt 2 is some impressive sleet. Huge ice crystals. Close to 1" here, mostly sleet.

    I'm going to nowcast some deflated weenies. Any significant icing will be at high elevations of Berks and Greens in S VT. A lot of QPF will be wasted as liquid in most of SNE. Pellets will get pretty far N tonight before retreating. Part 2 is still the wildcard fir NNE. WTF else should a NE winter wx enthusiast expect from a lakes cutter?!?
