I could certainly go for another tic or two W since qpf doubles 30mi E of me. -
Most of the general public would not even know how to find those maps.

The potential for a very sharp cut off looms large and that probably doesn’t change between now and when it actually starts snowing. Living where I do I have no jackpot fetishes but I do get very disappointed, when ski areas within an hour of my house, do poorly and the CP gets hammered.

It’s a very different outcome if this doesn’t have the hook West or any type of slow down. you go from major regional storm to nice storm for folks along the coast.

That aspect of this storm has been flip flopping and makes a huge difference for sensible weather outside of AEMATT

I think Worcester is a straight up cocaine town rather than crack. It is amazing, how ORH Co, is always just far enough in the right location for most winter storms.

We probably won't have that part figured put until tomorrow. Could get 6" back here or it could be a scenario where I get 2" Dave and Whiney get 8" but you still score a 20 burger.

I don’t see any worries for your area. If things break east so you only get eight or 10 inches, still a win.

WNE is very much relying on big circulation. We can’t afford to have a compact system with this if we want to get more than a few inches of snow.

I would be content if we can pull 6" in NW MA, don't care if Ray or whoever gets 26" we just need more snow otg here.

Oh I know, just makes sense that models won't lock until close to go time.

Some will get better than 10:1 but the shattered dendrite factor will be in play for those between the best banding zones.

I was sad the day NWS got rid of "heavy snow" warnings. I loved seeing that deep purple on the forecast map.
