  1. Yeah, we'll see but we are at least getting our first seasonal snow event tonight, so that's kind of fun. You made a great call on this week and next though.
  2. Nice way to start the season. Probably another hour or two to go here before any change to sleet.
  3. It's early season in the CRV, enjoy it for what it is. I'm honestly shocked you got any accumulation.
  4. 33/24 with steady light to almost moderate snow. Starting to stick to pavement, most other surfaces coated now. I'll admit, I was skeptical about early season accumulation, especially since I'm only around 380'. Nice treat despite not being completely finished with fall yard clean-up.
  5. Regardless, ineedsnow will set his alarm for 2am to catch the first mangled flakes of the season.
  6. 22/17. Coldest morning of the season so far.
  7. Yeah, with the current oil prices, there is going to be some diligent wood burning at my house. 27/19 with a living room temperature of 74.
  8. Brattleboro is not getting 3-4” or any accumulation outside of a coating for that matter. I never understand why BTV maps give Brattleboro or Bennington hill town type totals. They are both absolute snow holes. Same with GYX maps for Keene.
  9. The NAM usually leads the pack with modeling that mid-level, atmospheric dildo of snow death.
  10. Just be happy to see flakes and anything else is gravy. Enjoy your first winter in the snow belt of SNE.
  11. There is no way that is happening but I’ll tell you what, if an early season storm actually played out like that, I would drive to Ray’s house, with my laptop and a hammer and we could take turns smashing our screens.
  12. Obviously the beer is pretty good but I’m a pizza snob and they have damn good pizza.
  13. Enjoying the last night of summer at TreeHouse Deerfield. #beer
  14. Yeah, it’s too bad, I wouldn’t mind it lasting through the evening because we are having friends over. Be nice to hang out in the yard by the fire regardless.
  15. Yeah, it was like solid sheets of water coming down for about 10 minutes. 1.8” rain since yesterday. 63/62. High temperature was 66° at around 3 AM
  16. Do you need more rain? I would’ve been happy with a dry weekend.
  17. It could be on all man-made snow. I firmly believe it is going to be below normal cold but I’m not convinced there’s a lot of QPF for New England. Doesn’t matter, pond skating is a rare treat so I would take that too.
  18. We had the heat on briefly, a few times the past month but tonight is the official start of wood stove season, at my house. 32/16. Gonna' be a chilly morning!
