    W MA on air Mets are always very conservative with snowfall totals because they’ve been burned so many times.

    In MA watches cut off about 5mi W of my house actually.

    There will most likely be some places in Central MA that get 10" and somebody 10-15mi away gets double that.

    Local met on the radio just said 2-4” here and maybe just a dusting for the Berkshires and S VT.

    Newburyport will probably be pretty good and I find it to be a more interesting area in general than the south shore.

    I could certainly go for another tic or two W since qpf doubles 30mi E of me.

    Most of the general public would not even know how to find those maps.

    The potential for a very sharp cut off looms large and that probably doesn’t change between now and when it actually starts snowing. Living where I do I have no jackpot fetishes but I do get very disappointed, when ski areas within an hour of my house, do poorly and the CP gets hammered.

    It’s a very different outcome if this doesn’t have the hook West or any type of slow down. you go from major regional storm to nice storm for folks along the coast.

    Really won't know until tomorrow morning. Can't afford any consensus moves East.
