  1. Yup, that’s bread and butter for us deep interior folk.
  2. Same here, it’s been wintry but you and I and everybody in between Albany and the Connecticut River definitely have been on the short end of snowfall the past few years. I’ve only had four storms above 6 inches in the past three years and the last double digit was December 2020.
  3. You need a half inch of rain into your pack followed by some arctic air. Really glaciate your yard.
  4. They are not the only ones, Berkshire East has 20” for the season. Awful.
  5. That’s a mistake. Was probably supposed to be 2.3” No location in that area got more than a few inches.
  6. Much better snow distribution for western areas though.
  7. Thanks! Woodford is pretty much the snow capital of southern Vermont, so I would trust the measurements from there more than the ski areas.
  8. Was there any word from Mitch about his totals in Vermont?
  9. It’s not like I’m being screwed badly by the valley either. My friend in Heath, who sends reports to NWS regularly is at 1400’ and she only has 19” for the season. I’m not sure what Berkshire East season total is but it’s probably similar.
  10. The I-91 corridor from Springfield to Brattleboro is generally not favorable for big snow relative to eastern areas.
  11. Well, that would be fitting since nobody in the Boston metro area thinks anything exists west of Worcester.
  12. Nobody finds it a little odd that NWS BOX doesn’t have a single snow total report from Western Massachusetts across three counties? I think they are embarrassed by their forecast and won’t put the totals up lol
  13. I'm going to guess this was @dryslotbiggest storm in a few years?
  14. Man, I figured your location had 18". Definitely tight range on the more epic bands. Still though, 12" is nothing to sneeze at. I'd kill for a storm that big, last double digit here was Dec 2020
  15. Going to be more white than wet here me thinks.
  16. The parameters have gotten even narrower, Dave and Whinemister and the E Slope of the Berkshires are out of the winners circle this year too. Deep SNE is the new climo for snow.
  17. OK, thanks. Most everybody west of I-190 in MA got about half of what was expected but that's ironically not unexpected with a storm of this nature.
  18. I thought of you as I watched it. Incredible how those bands just stayed stationary. My brother in Exeter (Brentwood) was bitching to me all day via text about getting screwed.
  19. That really is once in a lifetime stuff for some folks. Incredible storm for E NE.
  20. What did you end up with? It's a little odd NWS BOX does not have a single report from Hampshire or Franklin Counties. Are they deleting because their forecast was so off here?
  21. Affirmative. Looks like it may start wet but everybody flips. Interesting set up so we will see.
