  1. Dogshit day on the island. Cold and wet.
  2. That was a wild day. Best structure I’ve seen in southern NE. My uncle got hit by the tornado on his way home from Waterbury. He had the rather extraordinary distinction of being hit directly by three tornadoes while living in SCT. House got smoked by the July ‘89 F4, then 2018 and 2020 (or was it ‘21?)
  3. I saw four orioles yesterday. So great to have them back. No ruby-throats in my hood yet though.
  4. Solid A here. Near continual snow cover after Christmas, relentless cold, two big events and way above climo snowfall. If we can somehow squeeze in one more warning event to make Morch memorable I'll bump it to A+.
  5. Swore off early a.m. practices when my swimming career came to an end. The 4 a.m. wake up call just ain’t for me.
  6. I’m just stoked I won’t have to run in the dark after work.
  7. Geez, where did this come from? I was thinking flurries lol.
  8. Surprisingly healthy looking radar for this little event. I was expecting flurries, but it's dumping pretty good.
  9. Good point. I need to spend more time diving through your archives. Phenomenal resource.
  10. He definitely did in '15. Maybe '13 as well? I think his area got slammed by the March fujiwara after the big one in Feb.
  11. That's awesome. Congrats. That's the best kind of regression.
  12. Man, what a 30 day stretch you've had. How much all together, do you reckon?
  13. Oh, I was speaking broadly about the '15 blitz. '78 would definitely trump the Jan '15 blizzard, no question.
  14. Nothing will ever touch that. Nothing will come close.
  15. Withdrawal is definitely the word for it. You just find yourself randomly scrolling through model runs on Tropical Tidbits looking for another dopamine hit, but alas...
  16. Oh, well in that case I'm melancholy and furious well before the storm exits
  17. I don't know about you guys, but I always feel a little melancholy when a big storm is coming to an end. You just know it could be many years before you experience something like it again.
  18. It's too bad my grandmother sold her house in Duxbury for Florida. Would've been an epic storm to crash up there.
  19. Ray must be making up for lost time at least a little, no?
  20. Maybe his home is on a hidden magma chamber and the snow is just melting as it piles up.
  21. And people wonder why we get anxious when these systems show up. So many brutal busts this past decade.
  22. Lol, OKX radar giving me March '18 PTSD with that subby hole down the valley.
  23. Too bad there wasn't a hair more SBCAPE to really get it going.
  24. Things gradually winding down here. I'm happy, but exhausted. No idea how much we got, but probably in the neighborhood of 17-20.
