    Undoubtedly, but there's a difference between showing a massive storm but being slightly off on the timing/location of the phase, and completely whiffing the biggest snowstorm of the century.

    It basically had a whiff right up until snow started falling. It was just completely out to lunch.

    The GFS has come a long way, but even so I will never fully trust it with nor'easters. Its Feb '13 blizzard failure still astounds me.

    Accumulations may have fallen short of expectations, but at least it's a strong mid-winter vibe out there. Better than brown grass by a mile.
