    Sort of expected the ice to melt off the trees this afternoon. Not happening so far. It's going to be a freaking glacier around here tomorrow if this doesn't melt a bit. Water ponding on the driveway and on top of the crust.

    Undoubtedly, but there's a difference between showing a massive storm but being slightly off on the timing/location of the phase, and completely whiffing the biggest snowstorm of the century.

    It basically had a whiff right up until snow started falling. It was just completely out to lunch.

    The GFS has come a long way, but even so I will never fully trust it with nor'easters. Its Feb '13 blizzard failure still astounds me.

    Radar wouldn't suggest it, but actually getting some decent snow at the moment.

    Accumulations may have fallen short of expectations, but at least it's a strong mid-winter vibe out there. Better than brown grass by a mile.
