Thanks for these daily insights and hard work you put into these updates daily! We had a low of 26.6 in Media coldest morning for a while. We are in full bloom here in Media never this early in my lifetime. I tried to upload a picture of the daffodils but says the pic file is too large. I don’t know what’s at work here but swear the sun angle is different this year like the Earth has wobbled on its axis for some reason. I think we need a physicist?? thoughts out there the other card I will not mention is the easy way out?

Media Delaware County had sleet about 25 minutes ago with a temp of 44 and a dewpoint of 37 I was a little shocked must have been a tiny pocket of cold air aloft passing NW to SE. All rain again though. Sleet lasted 5 minutes so VICTORY!!!

If I recall in the past these summers, you talk about are hot and dry and drought like. Thunderstorms during these summers come so far south before lifting north and hitting a stronger than usual Bermuda High.

Media Delaware County low was 10 currently 11. Just an observation it was 13 humidity 27% dewpoint -13 when I went to bed last night at midnight. I came down at 6:15 am the humidity was 48% with a dewpoint of -6 with calm winds so yea here comes the rapid rebound.

0z GFS is absolute garbage run if you want winter. Wow very warm look. Flooding and Severe weather in the Midwest and Southern Plains and DAYS of an easterly flow here basically from New York City to the Florida Straits all should go well for snow chances. On the 0z GFS we have a Bermuda High love it.

Media Delaware County 14 degrees humidity 28% dewpoint -13 winds gusting past 35 at times finally arctic air shame its only here for 12-27 hours. We picked up a trace of snow that evaporated. You can already see upstream the cold air lifting out and the warming beginning. Even with it getting really warm next week my snow weenie eyes wants to listen to Ralph and stay patient for a back loaded February. I guess we will find out in 10 days.

The Great Lakes Low has been around for a few years now.

Don't forget about record snowfall in Japan too. I mean after all it is how the cold and warm eddies interact that cause weather correct?

So far here in Media Delaware County just a little snizzle so far so a snizzle storm. Currently 32 humidity 80% dewpoint 26 wind very light out of the North. Again, still a lot of low-level moisture still. I could make out the moon a bit as the clouds were racing wsw to ene here.

Media Delaware County 32 humidity 83% dewpoint 27 very very light snizzle or light snow falling. I believe the model that shows a stripe of snow from central Delaware county Points South and East. There was and is still a lot of low-level moisture hanging around ready to be wrung out.
