  1. If a weather model(s) is controlling someone's mental and physical well being then that person needs to take a break.
  2. Likely because of the terrible year that 2020 has been. For many the negative has far outweighed the positive this year. Many people aren't in good moods to begin with so it doesn't take all that much to have people slip even further into depression and anger.
  3. Notre Dame getting their ass whipped by Alabama......
  4. Sort of like Jackie Bradley's strike zone........
  5. The last thing that many people need during 2020
  6. Whoops sorry. I saw a report that Londonderry had 16 inches
  7. What site do you use for the snowfall data? Thanks!
  8. Yesterday I took a look at the new radar page...I thought I had stumbled upon some jr high kid's site........
  9. I can't wait for the tropical storm warnings to be hoisted for Xmas Eve and xmas day........At least we get to watch Kyrie play on xmas day.....
  10. Just have to appreciate anything that is good in 2020. Certainly not an historic storm in my area but a solid storm. It is winter outside! And likely a white Christmas!
  11. I measured 10 inches at 7 am. Will end up with over a foot once all is said and done.
  12. All things considered a good storm for Methuen.
  13. I agree. And sets the stage for a white Christmas.
  14. I measured 10 in Methuen at 7 AM. One thing I noticed was the snow was heavier than I expected it to be.
  15. How does your total compare to surrounding towns? I agree with you regarding the 24th-26th time period. I'd like to see the "warm" air get pinched south of SNE/So NH. I think it is possible because of the snowpack in the east. Pure speculation on my part...perhaps a situation where 2 waves form along the front. First wave is rain/mix....2nd wave is more snow/mix....perhaps the front sets up along the dividing line of the snowpack to the north and west and the "warmer" water to the south and east.
  16. When all is said and done there will likely be more than a foot in Methuen. NWS offices in several states are going to have some explaining to do. As will TV mets in the Boston area. The storm is going to be an interesting case study once all is said and done.
