Depends on how much money you want to spend for a nice looking lawn. Personally I'd rather invest the money in something that I need or want to do. My lawn is decent. A neighbor down the street has a great looking lawn but his water bill is huge. Plus he uses a lot of different chemicals on his lawn which is another major expense. The fascination with lawns is an obsession with some people. A former neighbor would spend hours working on his lawn. His lawn looked better than augusta! He moved out about 15 years ago. A couple of years later he came back to visit. He was appalled at the condition of the lawn at his former home.

For the most part it has had an El Nino look to it for quite some time. JB has made the point that the waters have never returned to normal following the Super El Nino of 15-16.

So if Dorian does take a turn to the north, and I post "Looks like Dorian is going to hit the SC coast" ...you assume I want to see a cat 3/4 hit SC???

That is a huge leap to make from still moving west to someone wanting a direct hit on Florida.

So you make the jump from "Dorian seems to be still heading west" to people hoping for a direct hit on FL?????

So what are people suppose to discuss?? Even Mets on here and other online sites/TV have discussed Dorians wobbles and potential tracks. And some have speculated on Dorian hitting FL. Is that wishcasting? I have not read a post that stated "I want to see A full fledged CAT 5 Dorian hit Florida"

So expressing an opinion/thought is "wish casting"????

There is a significant difference between discussing different scenarios and wishing for a " 200 MPH Dorian" to hit FL

Find 10 posts where people stated they were hoping FL gets impacted by a 200 MPH Dorian...…...

I'd be shocked if the ocean temps came anywhere close to verifying.

I find it interesting that the Australian Bureau of Meteorology has moved the El Nino watch to an alert. According to what I read that means they think there is a 70% chance of an El Nino developing in 2019.

And some in the SNE subforum will deny the existence of an El Nino this winter.
