Agree, but it will be interesting to track the trend in the coming years. This morning there was a tornado warning in the Cape Ann area of MA. I am also wondering if more tornado warnings are being issued out of an abundance of caution.

Considering the warming climate I think it is possible that the northeast experiences more tornadoes in the coming years.

below normal snowfall is different than a snowless winter. I consider a snowless winter to be 25% percent or less of normal snowfall.
