  2. "I sat there dumbfounded because the story presented by Mr Giuliani bore no relationship to the actual complaint in the case," Mark Aronchick, a lawyer representing several counties that the Trump campaign is suing, told MSNBC.

  5. His words had an impact on millions of people in regards to their views on the Covid situation.
  6. His words DWARF any list that you can post.... but I'll leave you with one last quote....... “Turn on television, right. Covid, Covid. Covid, Covid, Covid. Covid,” he said. “A plane goes down, 500 people dead, they don’t talk about it. Covid Covid Covid Covid.” “By the way on November fourth you won’t hear about it anymore,” Another great prognostication.......lol
  7. from 4/22 Trump, who has been pushing for states to begin reopening their economies, batted down notions that COVID-19 could return in large waves, as has happened in previous pandemics. Health experts and members of the White House coronavirus task force have warned of a possible comeback for the virus next fall. “It’s not going to be what we’ve gone through, in any way, shape or form,” Trump said flatly. He continued: “If it comes back, though, it won’t be coming back in the form that it was. It will be coming back in smaller doses that we can contain. ... You could have some embers of corona ... (but) we will not go through what we went through for the last two months.” Trump then turned to Dr. Deborah Birx, coordinator of the coronavirus task force, and asked, “Doctor, wouldn’t you say there’s a good chance that COVID will not come back?” “We don’t know,” Birx responded. Great call by the prez lol
  8. From 9/22 “It affects elderly people. Elderly people with heart problems and other problems. If they have other problems, that’s what it really affects,” Trump told supporters at an airport outside Toledo. “That’s it. You know, in some states, thousands of people, nobody young. Below the age of 18, like, nobody,” he continued. “They have a strong immune system, who knows. You look — take your hat off to the young, because they have a hell of an immune system. But it affects virtually nobody. It’s an amazing thing.” Virtually nobody???...............
  9. Making fun of Biden for wearing a mask also "helped" people to take the Covid situation seriously “What the hell did he spend all that money on the plastic surgery if he’s going to cover it up?" the 74-year-old Trump said during a campaign rally near Pittsburgh in battleground Pennsylvania.
  10. From Oct 19th "People are saying whatever. Just leave us alone. They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots...Fauci is a nice guy. He’s been here for 500 years"......referring to Dr Fauci and others as idiots sure does go a long way towards having people take the Covid situation seriously. ....
  11. Once again I ask: Uhmm where is the action of him informing the American people about the seriousness of Covid-19?? which he clearly knew of on or before Feb 7th.....Why did he tell Woodward but not the public???? Where is the action of him cooperating with Biden and his transition team on the Covid-19 situation? Why is he not cooperating??

  15. Just keep in mind" truth isn't truth"............. only in trumpland:
  16. focus on words??....those are the words(quotes) of trump not the words of liberal media......actions???? lol............
  17. .....but he did not care at all about the covid situation. He made light of the situation on numerous occasions. Some of the things trump said during Feb/Mar about Covid February 10: “Looks like by April, you know in theory when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.” February 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” February 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.” February 25 : “I think that's a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.” February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.” February 26 : “We're going very substantially down, not up.” February 26: “Well, we're testing everybody that we need to test. And we're finding very little problem. Very little problem.” February 26: "This is a flu. This is like a flu." February 27: “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” February 28: “We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements" March 2: “You take a solid flu vaccine, you don't think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?” March 2: “A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they’re happening very rapidly.” BUT in a taped conversation with Bob Woodward said this... February 7: “It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu... This is deadly stuff” [Trump in a private taped interview with Bob Woodward, made public September 9]
  18. The point is/was that the restrictions were worse during WW 2.
  19. There was not overwhelming support for the war. Any my point still stands, the covid restrictions pale in comparison to rationing and restrictions during ww2
