I looked at the table of contents a few weeks aga and I wasn't all that impressed. I decided not to order the book. An interesting book(although dated, published in the 40's) is Great Storms and Shipwrecks of New England. Other books: Historic storms of New England Early American Winters Volumes 1 and 2 Not New England related but great reads All Hell Broke Loose...it's about the Armistice Day blizzard of 1940 Such a Cold Sky....it's about the weather of the Michigan Upper Peninsula...

I would think there would be an opening ceremony of sorts...

I'm not frustrated. I had exceedingly low expectations for this winter. The only winter that I had lower expectations for was 15-16..

SNE better start cramming some winter weather into the next 2 weeks because after then the time to do so becomes shorter and shorter with each passing day.

I do think of him as more of a fan of warm/hot weather than a fan of winter weather.

I do get the sense that he feels the winter has been awful (and not in a good way). The TV broadcast METS appear to be bored out of their minds.

I highly doubt Fisher is looking for page hits. For the most part Fisher isn't a hypemaster.

Owners and players are both holding firm on their positions....there has been no movement by either side in nearly 7 weeks. The owners are likely looking at a 3rd consecutive season that will be impacted by covid.
