    ..the point is there are no signs of a long lasting winter pattern setting up. And that some individuals continue to ignore/.downplay what the pattern(s) has been producing for months.

    Back in the day this was the type of "storm" that had mets discussing the importance of having snow on the ground to act as a refrigerator of sorts.

    Those snowfall maps are the equivalent of projecting DeGrom to have 300 innings pitched next season...

    FAR too many TV METS do exactly that. The majority of them do not make a forecast. They just show model output/forecasts/future radar.

    That storm had the sharpest rain/snow line that I have ever seen . On one side of the line-heavy rain..just on the other side of the line heavy snow. Usually there is a transition zone but not with that rain/snow line.
