  1. In a heavy rain band with pea-sized hail in Cary.
  2. Interesting - the higher peaks of the west saw an increase, lower elevations saw a decrease. Wonder if warmer temps caused that.
  3. Starting to see pollen on the cars. That wind today had it blowing off the pines.
  4. 34F and rain in Cary, .05" in the bucket. Nothing frozen to speak of.

  6. Heads up! Seeing ice/snow sheets slide off north sides of the steeper roofs in the neighborhood.

  17. They're not coming up for me between Burlington and Greensboro.
  18. Temp is 41.5 and falling with 2.21" in the bucket in Cary. Several branches down in the neighborhood, leftover leaf piles have clogged some drains, leaving standing water on some roads.
  19. Anyone post this yet? Visible ground scar on a satellite image from Dec 13th. Madisonville, KY is in the center of the map, the Cumberland River is at the bottom left.
  20. This dry weather and the piles of leaves along the street are making me a bit uncomfortable...especially when people park their cars on the leaf piles.
  21. 1.69" from yesterday. 9.18" for the month, 6.5" of that is from 10/9.
