    Uncle dumps double digits on most of us. These systems inevitably are really good with the cold dome and not enough of an amped low to scour it. Just deep gulf moisture into a gelid arctic dome.

    I’m pretty bullish on this for a widespread 12+ event. Overrunning systems like PD2 are prolific moisture producers. Screw zones notwithstanding, this should be a biggie for most of us at least in the southern 3 New England states but I would not rule out CNE either.

    Really PD2 like per my memory. Massive moisture plume correcting north in the final 3 days. To be fair, everyone from DC-BOS got the goods-as in 1-2 feet.

    I gotta fly 2/1 to FL to care for my MIL-was originally planned the first week of March but alas stuff happens. She can’t be alone and my wife’s siblings are/were there last week, this week, and next so our time is coming except since my wife and me are the only ones with more time. Let’s get a big dog before 2/1! After that our winter is over.

    OP euro came north with the qpf field and the Skynet was more robust. 12z was late on sv so just saw it.

    Some great bursts overnight and while I was close to 4” when I came in the house around midnight, I’m eyeballing 6+ now. This event has been legit.

    Been snowing pretty good here. Eyeballing about 1.5” and easily accumulating.
