  1. Yeah this in some ways reminds me of 2/4/1961 when you could see the dendrites stacking…..all night.
  2. Yeah it’s pounding and probably accumulating at over 1/hour. This event duration is a big plus.
  3. 17.5 but just looked at radar after spending an hour cleanup the awful job the snow guys did. So I suspect that total will change.
  4. Man my snow guys did an awful job and I had to redo tons of it so I could get to my front and back doors, trash cans, and half the sidewalks. An hour with the snowblower is what I had to do. Gotta let the boss know that his guys are really lazy. But I enjoyed the snowblowing tbh. Oh and I’m calling 17.5 so far. Radar suggests I tack some more on this evening.
  5. Agree. But you can’t really delete it since it’s kind of a legacy site right? Official records going pretty far back
  6. I would like to see BOS eclipse 20. Shouldn’t be too hard with 18.6 at 7AM. I don’t care about my own total which is probably close to Logan’s and I’ll measure after I get my morning activity done.
  7. Ramping back up with good growth now. Final push of the waa snows. Hopefully tomorrow produces. I’ll be heading out of town next weekend for 3-4 weeks so unless we have a good March this could be it for me.
  8. I just measured 14.5. Tough with all the drifting so it might’ve somewhat low but there’s a big difference in impact from 6-10 and 12+. It’s accumulating with heavy snow now backing down to moderate with smallish flakes. Blowing and drifting all over the place. I noticed BOS had 10.5 about 4 hours ago so I expect the next measurement to be 15+.
  9. Snow growth is ok here….pretty good actually. Was better earlier but now getting better again. Snowing heavily for sure-visibility <1/4 right now.
  10. It’s been snowing nicely but now we’re getting fatties mixing in-about to take off as we go from moderate to borderline heavy to pounding.
  11. STFU Cory! You want me to list the storms I missed? Like the best of the 20th century and many others. But I’m a grown up so I wish my fellow weather weenies well.
  12. I actually have the vaguest memory of my dad waking me up to see the heavy snow when I was under age 3. But my actual vivid memories start with the incredible month of March 1956.
  13. It’s a pretty minimal difference here-like maybe 0.1 less. Noise
  14. I don’t think he has enough memory of that to count it. Maybe I’m wrong. Also, not sure what the Weymouth total was but I was 22”. I think he beats that.
  15. I tried…I mean I’m probably his grandparents age…
