  1. I’m pretty confident that under 70 afternoons are gone from Monday on for a long spell. Let’s get some 95-102 days in here!
  2. Mid to upper 70s and fairly nice in downtown Worcester.
  3. When you see thickness above 576 it’s hot. Period.
  4. Nice! Far cry from where you grew up!
  5. Good luck with the new knee Tom. You and I are among the few on this site who remember 1951….lol. It will be 5 years for me on 9/30….but my side gigs means that I’m semi retired. But considering my life prior to 9/30/2020 it feels retired to me. As a life long night owl, I’ve finally experienced 7-8 hours sleep per night. That in itself is life changing.
  6. OT but Fairbanks today (technically tomorrow with sunset 12:39AM) has 2 hours and 23 minutes between sunset and sunrise.
  7. PEI is a snowy place. Charlottetown averages 112”/year.
  8. Nice! Welcome to the other side of life Mike!
  9. Well we’ll endure this weekend and hopefully move into high summer by mid next week. Near the solstice. Imagine that!
  10. Gotta be fairly wealthy to live in Stowe if you’re moving. Housing costs probably comparable to the Boston area.
  11. This year validates my policy of not going to a night game at Fenway before the solstice.
  12. I couldn’t imagine using the term dungarees post 1980. I caved and wore jeans yesterday but in general, with the exception of teaching my course on Fridays I’m shorts May-September save for any formal events like weddings or funerals.
  13. True-it’s not quite warm enough for winter.
  14. Legit. Widespread 90s. Car read 95 newton and Wellesley areas.BOS with an east wind and hours of M-U 80s . 50s and low 60s are probably finished.
  15. 18Z euro also moved the wet axis north similarly.
  16. 570 thickness line well into NNE. Hot.
  17. Hopefully gfs wins with full summer for a few days next week
  18. FWIW, that’s way above normal for the first week in June. Why do people expect 90s? It happens occasionally but usually not till later in the month or July.
  19. People only jump for snow negative busts. I bet your family has restraints to keep you alive in those cases.
  20. Remember low 80s next week would be well above normal. HHH (90 with dews) can happen but it’s relatively rare this early.
