  1. WWA from just east of the Hudson to the Ct. border from Newburg north. Either side of that line is WSWarning. Does not make much sense to me.

  4. I am beginning to doubt today's forecast high of close to 50. Still cloudy with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. We"ll see what the afternoon brings.

This is probably because, with the change in measurement techniques over time, it is not possible to conclusively say that any one part of the country has become snowier or less so over the past 120 years.   8. Since the 50 inch snowfall season of 2014-15, and not including this year, Central Park has averaged almost 27 inches of snow. This is just about normal
  9. I know it is wishful thinking, but if that storm passing to our Southeast gets close enough with heavy enough precipitation and some chilly air in place, maybe it could snow.
