Yes I have noticed when we have a marine onshore flow and miss storms, there are storms out over the ocean in many cases.

I have hit 80 degrees or higher only 15 times this year. Zero 90 degree days, high for the year 86.

Looks like some rain about to hit Long Island, but it doesn't look like much.
