Got down to the low 30s but no frost.

Looks like next week trending a little cooler. Monday still looks mild.

Wind seems to be slacking off now but did gust to 30mph. Looks like tomorrow night I have a chance for my first frost and or freeze.

Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain Sunday night across the area.

There were quite a few years where the west was dry and lacking in snowfall in the winter while we had lots of snow and plenty of rain. Now it has changed, I guess that is how you get averages. I just wish it would change back, this is very boring.

Some more stats: since the year 2000 Dulles average DJF 36.6 Central Park DJF 36.4 Islip DJF 34.2 Having spent a lot of time near Dulles, they are generally warmer in the day and colder at night then Central Park.

Maybe tonight my area might see some frost. It may be like all the other chances we had where clouds or mild air moves in at the last minute. Meanwhile inland has seen numerous frosts and in many areas freezes.

No signs of winter here but very wintry in Alaska. Fairbanks has plenty of snow and a temperature of 18.

Got down to 36.7 at 2a.m. Then it clouded over and the temperature started rising.

Some temperatures already dropping to the low and middle 40s. If it stays completely clear with light wind, should be lots of areas, outside the urban areas, with frost.

How about when there is a storm and it is reported as a once in a 1000 year storm.

Fell to 36 briefly here this morning. If sky stays clear tonight, I expect frost in the morning.

Almost the entire U.S. has tranquil weather. Eventually it will change, maybe just in time for the snow enthusiast.
